REGULATION


1: General
This is a private event and special race regulations will be in force. Some of these special regulations are listed in the points that follow. Additional regulations may be enacted, if required, by the race organizers at their own discretion at any time before or during the race. Every participant has to respect the present regulation in all its parts. Before each stage, a technical briefing will be organized in order to give all the necessary information or eventual up-dating to each participant.

2: Participants

Riders can participate in one of the following categories:
1. Extreme - 483 km
2. Adventure - 282 km
Each category can participated in the following options:
A1. Male Individual
A2. Female Individual
B1. Duo (2 participantes, mixed or non-mixed)
The CMMC is open for inscription to all ridersaged 19 or over.


3: Start
The event is mass starting racestarting whistle will be used to give the start.

4: Race procedure
A rider must act in a sporting manner at all times and shall permit any faster rider to overtake without obstructing.a rider exits the course for any reason, he/she must return to the course at the same point from which he/she exited.riders must respect nature and shall make sure that they pollute the course venue.

5: Control points

The race organizers will provide water spots for the riders at 2-4 designated points along the road with control points. All riders requiring special foods during the race such as energy drinks etc… are recommended to bring their own supplies.

6: Finish

Duo classification will be based upon the times of both participantes, it is neccesary to pass the finish together. Competitor classification will be determined at the end of the race.

7: Equipments

All cyclists will be required to bring their own mountain bikes, spares and repair kits. The organizers will not be offering any repair facilities or spare parts. Bikes used for competition must comply with an official standard for mountain bikes. The use of tires fitted with metal spikes or screw is not permitted.use of radio links or other remote means of communication with riders is forbidden.

8: Technical assistance

Authorized technical assistance during a race consists of repairs to or the replacement of any part of the bicycle other than the frame. Bike changes are not permitted and the rider must cross the finishing line with the same handlebar number plate that he had at the start.assistance shall only be given in the technical assistance zones.equipment and tools for repairs must be kept in this zone. Repairs and equipment changes can be carried out by the rider himself. Small items such as an inner tube or a small tool maybe handed up from the technical assistance zones.may carry tools and spare parts provided that these do not involve any danger to the rider himself or of the other competitors

9: Medical assistance:

A doctor will be available during the race, along with emergency medical supplies and medical check first day of every participant

10: Prize

The organizer shall award the best three of each category. Winners shall be awarded with sport prizes. three winning riders of each stage must be present at the award ceremony held after the completion of each stage and in the final awards ceremony.
All participants, regardless the final result, will receive an official CMMC 2010 gadget. At the end of the event there will also be a fair-play prize given to the athlete who distinguished himself by his availability, sport ness and unselfishness.

11: Personal Liability & Insurance

The race organizers will take precautions to ensure the safety of each and every rider in this event. However, every individual needs to be aware that to take part in any such activity involves a degree of personal risk, and that the final liability remains with the participating riders themselves. A standard disclaimer form shall be filled out by every participant before the event commences. The race organizers assume no liability for any injures damages or loss of life caused by accidents or mishaps before, during and after the event.

12: Cancellation:
In the event of bad weather the Marshals may decide to cancel the event after consulting the organizer.

13: Marshals

The race organizer will provide marshals to ensure the safety of the riders and spectators during competitionmarshals shall be readily identifiable by a badge or distinctive uniform. will all be equipped with a whistle and those located at strategic points with a radio link. They must be positioned so as to provide a radio link covering the whole course.

14: Course

The organizers reserve the right to modify the race route or race profile at their discretion. This is primarily due to weather conditions which can change rapidly in Mountains.
Race participants will cover the whole course as set by the organizers for each day of the race. complete course will be marked in a compatible way with the competition: tapes, signs, etc, forming the guideline of the course
Safety is a priority!! At all times if another rider or your self comes to a situation where safety is jeopardized either through accident or weather conditions, stop and help (or accept help immediately). Your own on the spot decisions may be paramount to life preservation.
Race will be decided on arrival placing. Overall General Classification for the five days will be determined by cumulative time over the five races. Organizers will be presented following each race.
The competitors shall follow the race directives at all times. This is vital for logistical arrangements and for safety. Riders shall also accept race accommodation and provisioning during the event as arranged by the organizers for same reason.
The use of radio links or other remote means of communication with riders is forbidden.
The organizer will provide a bike washing area in camp. course must only be ridden by the riders during the event. All other persons must be kept clear of the course.
